Welcome to Yalla BB, your go-to peer-to-peer fashion marketplace where users can buy and sell second-hand fashion items. By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).

1. Definitions

1.1 Marketplace: Refers to Yalla BB, including its mobile application.

1.2 User: Any individual who registers, browses, buys, or sells items through the Marketplace.

1.3 Seller: A User who lists items for sale on the Marketplace.

1.4 Buyer: A User who purchases items from the Marketplace.

1.5 Items: Second-hand fashion items listed for sale on the Marketplace.

1.6 Yalla BB Wallet: A digital wallet feature that stores funds from sales, refunds, or promotional credits.

1.7 Dispute Resolution Team: Yalla BB’s internal team responsible for handling transaction disputes between Buyers and Sellers.

1.8 Consignment Seller: A Seller who consigns luxury items to Yalla BB for managed sale on their behalf.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use Yalla BB. Minors aged 12 and above may use the platform with parental permission, verified through a consent form.

2.2 By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.

2.3 Yalla BB reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in fraudulent activities.

3. Account Registration

3.1 To access certain features of Yalla BB, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and all activity under your account.

3.2 You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches related to your account.

3.3 Users may not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes or to manipulate transactions.

4. Listing Items

4.1 Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of listed Items, including brand, size, condition, and defects.

4.2 Listings must comply with our Prohibited Items Policy, which bans the sale of counterfeit goods, illegal items, and any products restricted under UAE law.

4.3 Yalla BB reserves the right to remove any listings that violate these Terms or are deemed inappropriate.

4.4 Items that remain unsold for 180 days may be subject to automatic price reduction promotions.

4.5 Luxury items need to be consigned to Yalla BB for sale, in which case Yalla BB will set pricing, manage the listing, and handle the sale process.

4.6 Consignment Sellers will contact Yalla BB to come and collect items, before any item is listed.

5. Buying Items

5.1 Buyers can purchase Items through Yalla BB’s checkout process.

5.2 By making a purchase, you agree to pay the specified price, including applicable commissions, shipping fees, and taxes.

5.3 All sales are final unless otherwise stated in our Return Policy.

5.4 Buyers who repeatedly cancel orders may face restrictions on future purchases.

6. Payments & Yalla BB Wallet

6.1 Payments are processed through our secure payment gateway. We accept credit/debit cards and digital wallets.

6.2 Sellers receive payments after the Buyer confirms receipt of the Item and is satisfied with the purchase.

6.3 Funds from completed sales are credited to the Yalla BB Wallet and can be withdrawn to a linked bank account.

6.4 Unused funds in the Yalla BB Wallet will expire if not withdrawn within 365 days.

6.5 For consignment sales, payments will be processed to the Consignment Seller after the buyer’s return window has expired.

7. Shipping

7.1 Sellers must ship Items within 48 hours of purchase confirmation.

7.2 Yalla BB’s logistics partner will facilitate delivery. We are not responsible for delays, damages, or loss of Items once handed to the courier.

7.3 Buyers must confirm receipt of Items within 24 hours of delivery. If no confirmation is received, the transaction will be automatically completed.

7.4 For consigned items, Yalla BB will manage the packing, shipping, and delivery to the Buyer.

8. Returns & Disputes

8.1 Buyers should carefully review Item descriptions before purchase. Returns are only accepted if the Item is misrepresented or defective.

8.2 All return requests must be submitted within 2 days of receiving the Item.

8.3 In the case of a dispute, the Dispute Resolution Team will review evidence provided by both parties and make a final decision.

8.4 Refunds, if approved, will be credited to the Yalla BB Wallet and may take up to 10 business days to process from the approval date.

9. User Conduct

9.1 Users must engage in respectful and honest interactions. Harassment, abusive language, or fraud is strictly prohibited.

9.2 Multiple accounts, fake reviews, and manipulative behavior that disrupts the Marketplace will lead to suspension or termination.

9.3 Yalla BB reserves the right to monitor communications made through the platform to ensure compliance.

9.4 Any attempt to circumvent the platform’s fees by arranging transactions outside Yalla BB will result in immediate account suspension.

10. Privacy Policy

10.1 Your privacy is important to us. Review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10.2 Yalla BB may use anonymized transaction data to improve platform services and provide insights into user behavior.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Yalla BB is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the Marketplace.

11.2 We do not guarantee the authenticity, quality, or safety of Items listed by Sellers.

11.3 Buyers and Sellers agree that any legal claims arising from a transaction must be directed at the other party, not Yalla BB.

12. Amendments

12.1 We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Marketplace.

12.2 Users will be notified of significant updates via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
